Raw materials, machinery and packing Alttec fuel tanks are manufactured with the best raw materials: 5052 H32 aluminum alloy. This is the same material used in OEM fuel tanks. Connections Through the CNC laser technology use we ensure the exact position and quality of the drilling for the fill necks and ironwork, removing any installation problems. Welding Welding processes are performed with high quality MIG and TIG machineries operated by highly trained personnel. Leak Test Alttec tanks are tested individually to look for any possible leak in the welding beads. The bank is filled with pressurized air and immersed in water. Alttec tanks are packed in corrugated double carton boxes. Drop Test Tanks are filled up with water getting a weight equal to the maximum fuel load of the tank. Drop test on fill neck: Dropped squarely on the neck from 10 feet high onto nan unyielding surface presenting no leaks at all. Drop test on ends: Dropped from a height of 30 feet onto an unyielding surface. It landed squarely on a corner without rupture in weld parts or material.
